Another Multi-Day update

While we have been knee deep in projects the days seem to have slipped away. Needless to say blogging has taken a back seat.

Saturday 2/16/13
This morning we were busy loading, stowing, and preparing to leave dock at noon (high tide).  But the wind came up and we elected to stay put until the wind died down and the tide was right.  Next best time looks to be 7:00 am Sunday.
This afternoon we were able to take advantage of the down time and installed latches on the refer to keep the doors closed in rough seas, installed new LED lights, stowed the tender, and paid the dock bill.

Friday 2/15/13
The morning was spent checking all the engines, running gear, and mechanical operations. Here is Bob replacing the impeller for the generator (gen-set) so we can have power even when not at a dock.

The afternoon we set off to visit Savanna and get provisions for our soon to come voyage.

After Savanna we hit Krogers and here we are trying to find a home for it all. Lots of places to stow but not all of it is right at your finger tips. Usually it is under your seat.

The last thing in the dark setting our antenna for our own boat wide wi-fi hot spot. How did we travel with out all this technology
Thursday 2/14/13
Today was a big day. The divers were coming to clean the bottom of the boat and Alex & Matt needed to finish scrubbing the port side of the boat (the side away from the dock)

With some vegetation, few select oysters, and other things growing on the boat bottom it took 2 men several sizes of scrapers, a hammer, steel chisel, & 3 tanks of air to clean a years worth of growth.  But in the end we were declared sea worthy!

I lost Wednesday. Can't remember what projects we did or where we went to dinner.  Monday and Tuesday Bob can only remember putting on hoses to make the poop move (in the boat).  His stories will have to come later.  For now as the wind whistles thru the lines I am off to bed.  Tomorrow will be a good day.!
