Day Two: "Great Bridge" to "Alligator River"

Today we were up at six to make the bridge raising at 8:00am. Hailed the bridge,  and now we are drinking coffee waiting for 9:00am the REAL bridge opening. Once underway we followed the ICW canals cut through the swamp along rivers as they meandered toward the ocean.  Every thing is flat.   Marsh land on both sides. The rivers are not "rushing"  they just sit there and get wider the closer to the ocean we get.  No rushing water, rocks, or banks. At waters edge just stumps, dead trees, then grass & finally oak & pine.
